GULDEN DRAAK SMOKED

For the creation of Gulden Draak Smoked, the ancient tradition of malt kilning has been revived: smoking. It provides a characteristic nuance that is then transmitted to the beer. This typical smoky flavor was lost over the years as malt kilning techniques became considerably more efficient. The use of smoked malt in combination with the expertise of Brouwerij Van Steenberge gives a spectacular result: a strong, high-quality, top-fermented beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle, christened Gulden Draak Smoked. The addition of smoked malt to the recipe gives it a roasted and velvety flavor.
